Your screen print logo or design should be sized to the size it should be printed. If you want your print to be 12" wide, please be sure the actual design within the file is 12" wide.

Vector vs. Raster
Raster / Rasterized Image:
A non-vector image, also called a raster image, is one that can’t be scaled beyond its full-size dimensions without loss of quality.
Ideally, you should maintain an image resolution of 300 DPI. Rokken will accept other resolutions, but we don’t recommend anything less than 150 DPI. *if your provided graphic is not acceptable for usage, a team member will contact you prior to fulfilling the order.
Vector / Vectorized Image:
A vector image is a computer-generated graphic that’s made up of points, lines, and curves that are based upon mathematical equations, not pixels.
If you choose vector images, you can increase and decrease their size as much as you want, since they don’t involve the DPI.
-Design your art at the the actual dimensions you want printed, at 300 DPI.
Color
It is recommended to export your files to a RGB color mode, this will give you the most accurate reflection of what your design will look like in the final print. If your project requires CMYK, we will convert it for you.
Printed color may look different to your digital screen design. Garment inks have varying degrees of opacity which means not all colors print equally. Darker blues and fluorescents will tend to print more opaque unless they’re on a white garment and/or screen printed.
